The path to reversing climate change lies in economic incentives.
The reason that we continue to destroy precious trees is simple - the value of a dead tree is currently greater than a living one. And this is what the carbon token project seeks to solve. We want trees to equal money for everyday people - we want to give them a strong incentive to protect and grow them. We want a world where living stores of carbon are prized, traded and create wealth in the same way as oil. We want the next millionaires to be those with vast forests in their care.

Meet The Founding Team
Nikhil Kalanjee
Nikhil strongly believes that technology has a leading role to play in reversing climate change. He founded the carbon token project in 2021 in London and heads product development and operations.
Nicolò Bisso
Nicolò leads data science at the carbon token project. He is passionate about patterns and innovation in the field of tokenomics. He is based in sunny Barcelona.
Alex Robbio
Alex is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist from Argentina. His mentor ship, support and network have been vital to the founding of the project.
